Through a Foundation-funded grant, the SUPER Scientist Expo gave younger SCUC ISD students the opportunity to explore the exciting world of STEM through hands-on learning experiences led by SCUC ISD high school SUPER Scientists.
Students rotated through interactive stations introducing them to a variety of scientific fields, including chemistry, physics, astronomy, and more. Activities such as catapults, astronomical telescopes, flame bubbles, and other engaging demonstrations transformed science into an unforgettable learning experience.
One of the most meaningful aspects of the event was seeing high school students serve as mentors—sharing their enthusiasm for science while encouraging younger students to ask questions, experiment, and imagine future careers in STEM.
