25 Accountability Ratings

SCUC is proud to celebrate meaningful progress in the Texas Education Agency’s (TEA) 2025 Accountability Ratings. The district earned an overall B rating with a score of 81, a reflection of the dedication of students, teachers, staff, and families working together to support growth and achievement.

While statewide ratings were not released in 2024, SCUC ISD continued tracking internal performance to guide instruction and improvement efforts. This year’s results affirm those efforts: eight campuses improved their overall letter grade, and twelve campuses increased their Academic Growth scores, several by double digits. Two schools—Laura Ingalls Wilder Intermediate and Ray D. Corbett Junior High—earned Distinction Designations from TEA.

“We’ve stayed focused on what matters most—student growth,” said Superintendent Paige Meloni. “These results reflect the daily commitment of our teachers and staff and the resilience of our students.”

2025 Campus Highlights

Superintendent Meloni emphasized that while the accountability ratings matter, they are only one piece of a larger picture.

“The STAAR test is a snapshot in time,” she said. “It’s just one of several ways we see how our students are learning, growing, and thriving.”

With an overall B rating and notable campus growth, SCUC ISD will continue building on this momentum, ensuring every student is supported in reaching their full potential.
