January is School Board Recognition Month, and Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City ISD proudly thanks our Board of Trustees for their service to our students, staff, families, and community.
Serving as a school board trustee is both an honor and a responsibility. Our Board members volunteer their time to guide the district, set policy, and make decisions that affect more than 15,000 students. Much of this work happens behind the scenes, but it plays a critical role in keeping our schools strong and stable.
Together, the Board of Trustees works closely with the superintendent and district leadership to keep students at the center of every decision. This collaborative leadership, often referred to as the Team of Eight, reflects a shared commitment to public education and thoughtful governance that helps shape the future of our schools and the opportunities available to every learner.
We are grateful for their willingness to serve, to listen, and to lead with care and integrity. During School Board Recognition Month, and throughout the year, we thank our Board of Trustees for their dedication and support of public education.
Our future is public, and it is stronger because of their leadership.
