Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City ISD Superintendent Paige Meloni has completed The Holdsworth Center’s 18-month Superintendent Leadership Program, a highly selective leadership experience supporting public school leaders across Texas.

Superintendent Meloni was selected as one of only ten superintendents statewide to join the cohort beginning in July 2024. Throughout the program, she collaborated with peers and expert faculty to strengthen leadership practices and study district conditions that support long-term student and staff success. Members of her cabinet also participated in a summer learning session focused on aligned leadership and shared improvement efforts.

“This experience was an investment not only in me, but in our entire school district,” Meloni said. “The learning challenged me to be intentional in how we serve our community and create exceptional opportunities for children and their families. Learning alongside superintendents from across Texas affirmed our shared commitment to students, staff, and community.”

Founded by H-E-B Chairman Charles Butt, The Holdsworth Center develops strong leaders for Texas public schools through coaching, learning sessions, field visits, and systems-level leadership study.

Board President Letticia Sever noted the impact of the experience on the district’s leadership.

“Paige came to SCUC a strong leader, and through Holdsworth we are seeing an even greater confidence and clarity in how she strengthens the systems guiding our district forward.”

Superintendent Meloni’s completion of the program reflects SCUC ISD’s ongoing commitment to student-centered leadership, support for staff, and strong community partnerships, grounded in the belief that excellence starts with gratitude and grows through continuous learning.

SCUC ISD congratulates Superintendent Meloni on this milestone and looks forward to the continued impact of her leadership across the district.
