Samuel Clemens High School and Byron P. Steele High School will compete in District 27-6A after the biennial University Interscholastic League (UIL) realignment was released on February 2, 2026. The realignment is effective for the 2026-2027 and 2027-2028 school years.
The district composition will differ slightly from the previous realignment. Comal Pieper and San Antonio Wagner have moved up a classification and will join 27-6A; Buda Johnson has been moved to District 26-6A..
