Preliminary unofficial results from the May 2, 2026 Bond Election indicate that voters approved all three Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City ISD bond propositions with strong community support.
According to unofficial election results:
Proposition A passed with 68% of the vote
Proposition B passed with 60% of the vote
Proposition C passed with 69% of the vote
The approved bond propositions will support investments in general facilities and campus improvements, stadium facility renovations and upgrades, and student and staff technology devices across SCUC ISD.
Superintendent Paige Meloni expressed gratitude to the SCUC community for its engagement throughout the process and emphasized the district’s focus on the work ahead.
“We are incredibly grateful for the trust and support shown by our community,” Meloni said. “These bond propositions represent an investment in the future of our students, staff, and schools.”
Board President Letticia Sever also thanked the community for its strong participation and thoughtful engagement.
“We are thankful for the support shown by our community and equally appreciative of those who took the time to ask questions, attend meetings, and make informed decisions throughout this process,” Sever said. “That level of engagement reflects a community that continues to care deeply about the future of our students.”
Over the coming months, SCUC ISD will begin the next phase of planning, design, and project development. Additional updates, timelines, and project information will continue to be shared through the district website and official communication channels.
