As the 2025–26 school year winds down, the TX-82nd AFJROTC unit is preparing for 2026–27 school year by naming its Cadet Corps Leadership.
Following an in-depth review process, where cadets complete a series of evaluations, obtain letters of recommendation from core subject teachers, and more for an amassed portfolio, eight cadets were selected to lead the TX-82nd as the next school year ramps up. They are:
Corps Commander: Cadet/Colonel Aaliyah Williams
Vice Commander: Cadet/Lt Col Kai Wood
Executive Officer: Cadet/Major Evan Powell
Inspector general: Cadet/Major Dylan Wilbur
A Squadron Commander (support): Cadet/Major Deacon Arnold
B Squadron Commander (logistics): Cadet/Major Bryson Juarez
C squadron Commander (health & wellness): Cadet/Major Isabella Hansen
Cadet Corps Chief: Cadet/CMSgt Ismael Rosado
