Our library just got an upgrade!

We’re excited to introduce pedal desks—a fun and innovative way for students to stay active while they read, study, or work on assignments. Movement helps boost focus, memory, and overall engagement in learning, and these desks are the perfect blend of exercise and academics.

Even Superintendent Paige Meloni and Communications Director Deanna Jackson gave them a test ride during a recent visit—and we think they approve!

We look forward to seeing how students use them to make learning even more enjoyable!

Today we recognize Juneteenth, a day that commemorates the end of slavery in the United States. It’s a time to honor the strength, resilience, and contributions of Black Americans throughout history and today. A great way to celebrate is by reading books like "All Different Now: Juneteenth, the First Day of Freedom" by Angela Johnson — a beautifully illustrated book that captures the significance of this day through the eyes of a child.

Today we honor the amazing fathers, stepfathers, grandfathers, and all the father figures who inspire, support, and guide with strength and love. School’s out, and our amazing staff is ready to enjoy some well-earned rest and relaxation! 😴 Ms. Schnaubelt is kicking off summer by catching up on some much-needed sleep. 🌊 Ms. Harris is off to Panama City, Florida to visit her oldest son and soak up the sun and family time. 🚗 Coach Orosco is hitting the road this summer on a road trip to Destin, Florida—with some fun stops in Texas and Louisiana along the way! We’re wishing all our staff and students a summer full of fun, rest, and great memories!

🎨🌞 Corbett Artists Making Their Mark! 🌞🎨 Four of our talented Corbett students—Addison Davenport, Anabella Guzman, Richelle Martinez, and Michaela Miller—were selected to help paint a community mural across from Harmon’s BBQ in downtown Cibolo! With the guidance of our amazing art teachers, they've been working hard (and catching some serious sun) to bring this colorful vision to life. Despite the sunscreen, they’re sporting sunburns and tans—but it’s all worth it! The mural isn’t quite finished yet, but they’re on track to wrap it up before the last day of school—just in time for the whole community to admire it all summer long! 🧪🐸 Hands-On Science in Action! 🐸🧪 Our 7th grade scientists rolled up their sleeves for a classic biology lab—frog dissection! With curiosity, focus, and (a little) bravery, students explored anatomy up close, making real-world connections to what they’ve been learning in class. We love seeing our Mustangs dive into hands-on learning experiences that spark questions, discovery, and maybe even future careers in science!

🎓👏 Congratulations, Grads! 👏🎓 Please join us in celebrating Mr. Vasquez and Coach Dossett for officially earning their Master of Education in Educational Leadership this month! We are so proud of their hard work, dedication, and commitment to growing as educators and leaders. Their achievement is a win not only for them, but for our entire Mustang community!

Our amazing PTC is absolutely spoiling us this week, and we are here for it! From breakfast delivered to a hydration station, Staff Appreciation Week has been incredible so far. We’re not sure what we’ll do next week without all the goodies—but for now, we’re soaking it all in. THANK YOU, PTC!
