Since July, SCUCISD counselors have been working with Region 20 to support families in the Hill Country impacted by recent floods. While donations of food, clothing, and supplies have helped, many families are still struggling to rebuild.
What started as a high school initiative has grown into a district and community-wide effort. We are now asking for monetary donations that will go directly to families in Hunt and Ingram ISDs—helping teachers who lost their homes or families recovering from personal tragedies.
Our goal is to raise $78,100, inspired by the zip codes of our Schertz (78154) and Cibolo (78108) communities. If each SCUCISD family contributes just $5, we can make a real difference.
Donations will be collected at all home games and delivered after the Steele Homecoming on October 31 and Clemens Homecoming on November 7. Student volunteers will also visit families to provide encouragement and support.
