Starting last week, our Kinder team kicked off a fun new tradition: Color of the Day! Each day, they introduce a new color, and we invite the entire CVE family to wear that color to school. 💙💛💚❤️
It may seem like a simple thing, but these little traditions matter! They give our students and staff something fun to look forward to, create connections across grade levels, and build that sense of “we’re all in this together” that makes a school feel like a community.
There’s just something special about walking down the halls and seeing everyone wearing the same color — especially when our youngest Tigers see teachers, staff, and students across the campus joining in! 🐾

New Kids on the Block Lunch Bunch!
This week, our counselor, Mr. Rosas, and principal, Dr. Dockery, have been meeting with students who are new to Cibolo Valley Elementary across all grade levels for our New Kids on the Block Lunch Bunch!
We’ve shared a meal, talked about our old schools, what we miss about them, what we’re enjoying about CVE, and what it feels like to be the “new kid.” Most importantly, we’ve had a chance to laugh, listen, make connections, and get to know one another.
Opportunities like this matter. Starting at a new school can bring excitement, but it can also bring uncertainty. Creating intentional opportunities for students to be heard, build relationships, and feel like they belong helps turn a new school into their school.
At CVE, we want every student to know: You belong here. We’re glad you’re here. And we’re excited to have you as part of CVE!
Computers, Library, Art, Music, and PE are not “extras” at Cibolo Valley Elementary—they are an important part of a well-rounded education.
These classes help students build creativity, collaboration, communication, problem-solving, confidence, physical wellness, and perseverance. They give students opportunities to discover talents, explore interests, express themselves, and learn in ways that complement everything happening in the classroom.
Just like reading, writing, math, and science, CLAMP helps prepare students for success—not just on a test, but in school and in life.
