This week, we are celebrating our incredible Site Coordinators who are the heart and soul of Communities In Schools of South Central Texas!
Our Site Coordinators work tirelessly to support students, remove barriers to their success, and empower them to stay in school and achieve their dreams. From offering a listening ear to providing crucial resources, they are true champions for our kids every day!
Maegen Martinez is our superhero here at Green Valley Elementary as the new Communities In Schools (CIS) Site Coordinator. This is her second year with CIS, previously serving as the Site Coordinator at Lone Star Early Childhood Center in New Braunfels ISD and has been working in education for 4 years. She is a native San Antonian and a proud Fightin’ Texas Aggie (Whoop)! Outside of school, you can usually find her reading at a coffee shop, playing the guitar, or spending time with family and friends. She is already a huge part of the team at Green Valley - helping teachers, students, and their families! Thanks for being our very own superhero!!
