Teachers and staff at Barbara C. Jordan Intermediate School started showing up to work before the crack of dawn to welcome students to the first day of classes.
KENS 5 was on hand to chronicle some of the morning with reporter Earl Stoudemire. He interviewed fifth grade teacher Angela Lengyel live at 6am and principal Tina Curtis live at 6:30am.
A regular meeting of the Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City ISD Board of Trustees will be held Thursday, August 15, 2024, beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the boardroom of the William Malish Administration located at 1060 Elbel Road, Schertz, Texas 78154.

Skyward has temporarily closed Family Access due to a significant issue in their system which is impacting returning SCUC families (e.g., students previously attended SCUC ISD in 2023-2024).

If you are a returning SCUC family, all enrollment verification (and registration of a new student) is temporarily closed. Please do not create an additional account to register or verify enrollment.

Join us for Meet the Teacher Night on Wednesday, August 7th! Please note, this is not a "come and go" event. Presentations will begin in your child's homeroom classroom at 4:15 PM for 5th grade and at 6:00 PM for 6th grade.

School is out for the summer, and we hope all of our students and their families are enjoying themselves. The 2024-2025 school year begins on Thursday, August 15th. Stay tuned for more details later this month on all things related to "back to school!"
Today our PTC Board members enjoyed a special thank you tea party for all of their hard work and dedication throughout the school year.
To our wonderful parent volunteers, thank you for giving us your time and making this a memorable and fun year for our staff and students. We couldn't do it without your support!
We have had a memorable 2023-2024 school year. It went by fast and we will miss our kiddos. Good luck to all the future 7th graders! To our future 5th and 6th graders, have fun this Summer and we look forward to seeing you back in August.
