📚Jennifer Bradley 📚
Here's a message from Ms. Bradley:
"Hi, my name is Jennifer Bradley and I have been teaching for 16 years, with the last 10 yrs being in 1st grade. I'm excited to start 2026-2027 with Rose Garden in 2nd grade. I have 2 wonderful boys, James (29) and Jalen (24). In my spare time I enjoy putting puzzles together and playing games with my family. This year I'm excited about learning and collaborating with my new team and school."

✨Today's new owl is....Mrs. Nichole Sanchez, Kindergarten Teacher!✨
"Hi everyone! I am thrilled to join the district as a teacher this year. I’ve been educating young minds since 2014, following eight years of service in the U.S. Navy. Teaching is my true calling and, as a parent of eight kids, my life revolves around supporting, encouraging, and cheering on young people! Outside of school, my family loves to travel and catch live sporting events together. I’m looking forward to an amazing year ahead with our students and families!"
Let's welcome Mrs. Sanchez and make some connections: Let us know who in our Rose Garden family is also a Veteran! Thank you all for your service!

"Hi everyone! I am Ms. Voumard! This will be my first year at Rose Garden Elementary, my fourth year teaching, and my third year teaching Kindergarten!
I am always going on walks with my dog or laying by the pool! I absolutely love salt and vinegar chips, ice cream sandwiches and building Legos! A fun fact about me is that I have played tennis for 23 years and love it!
I am so excited about working at Rose Garden and continuing my career in this amazing district!"

Here's a little hello from Ms. Hirshberg:
"Hello everyone! A fun fact about me is I have wanted to be a teacher since before *I* was in Kindergarten, so I am thrilled to start my teaching journey here at Rose Garden as a Kindergarten teacher! A little bit about me is I enjoy playing tennis and running, I have two dogs, and I am very family oriented! I cannot wait to meet my new students and build positive relationships!

🌟Staff Spotlight! Please help us welcome another new Owl...Ms. Megan Hudgins! 🌟
Here's a little hello from Ms. Hudgins herself:
"Hi! I'm Ms. Hudgins and I will be teaching Kindergarten this year for the FIRST time! I'm so excited to try something new and start my adventure in Kinder! Before that I was teaching 8 years in 2nd grade, my heart for sure resides with the littles! I have a golden retriever and a GSP named Ghost and Remington and I love to read, hike, and bake (I bake the BEST cookies ever! If I wasn't a teacher, I would be a baker!) I'm excited to grow connections with the RGE family and students!"
Leave a common below to say hi--and extra points if you share a recipe for Ms. Hudgins to try!

Thank you for your patience with our technical difficulties today! We think we have it figured out, so let's try again...
Let's welcome our new owl 🌟Mrs. Kari Haynes, Special Education Inclusion Teacher!🌟
Here is a quick message from Mrs. Haynes:
"My name is Kari Haynes, and I am very excited to join the Rose Garden Elementary Family as a Special Education Inclusion Teacher. I earned my degree from the University of North Texas and have been teaching Special Education for the past 13 years in a self-contained classroom setting.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family. I have a son who is 29 and a daughter who is 25. Most recently, my daughter got married, which was such an exciting time for our family! I also enjoy watching romance and comedy movies, and I recently started learning to paint with watercolors. And of course, I love chocolate....I firmly believe it should be one of the four recommended food groups!
I love to watch children learn and grow both academically and emotionally. It is so rewarding to see students become proud of themselves and gain confidence in their abilities. I look forward to making this a great year!"
Show some love! Leave an owl 🦉 or your favorite emoji in the comments to greet Mrs. Haynes!

Join us in extending a huge Rose Garden welcome to...✨Mrs. Kelly Martinez, Math Interventionist!✨
Here's a message from Mrs. Martinez:
"My name is Kelly Martinez! I have had the privilege of working with students as an elementary classroom teacher for the past 24 years (20 of those have been right here in SCUCISD!). I am so excited to be joining the Rose Garden family as the campus Math Interventionist! Helping students achieve their goals, as well as believing in themselves, is my passion!
My two FAVORITE things in the world are my two boys. I have a senior, Aiden, and a freshman, Liam, in high school this year (and no, I’m not ok 😭!!!!) Currently, all of my “favorite” things evolve around their passions (baseball and marching band). I LOVE watching them both strive to do their best on and off the field! When I do get a moment to myself, I love to take my dog, Gizmo, on walks at the park!
👇 Help us welcome Mrs. Martinez to the RGE Family! Have a piece of advice or encouragement for her? Leave it in the comments!

Here is a quick message from Mrs. Piris:
"Hello! This will be my 8th year teaching, and I’m so excited to be teaching 1st grade again! I’ve had the joy of teaching students from Pre-K through 2nd grade in both Virginia and Texas. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Grand Canyon University. Outside of the classroom, I’m married to my high school sweetheart, and together we have two wonderful boys and two dogs! I enjoy cooking, organizing, and relaxing with a good documentary. My favorite treats are Reese’s, Nerds, and an ice-cold soda! I am most excited to meet my new group of students, build meaningful relationships, and create learning experiences and memories they will never forget!"

Happy Monday!
As our incredible teachers walk back through the doors to kick off a brand new school year today, we want to shine a massive spotlight on the heart of our campus leadership: our Principal Mrs. Smoot and Assistant Principals Robyn Pryor and Elvira Garcia.
Leading a school is a heavy lift. It means managing endless logistics, advocating for staff, ensuring safety, and holding the heart of our school culture together (often long before the sun comes up and well after the building goes quiet).
Behind every successful school year is a leadership team working tirelessly behind the scenes so our teachers and students can shine. Today, as we officially welcome our staff back, we want to say thank you to our Principal and APs for their grit, their grace, and their relentless devotion to our school community. We couldn't ask for a better team leading the charge into this amazing school year!
Join us in our appreciation by dropping a kind note for our admin team in the comments below. 👇💚🦉
