💚 Once a Panther, always a Panther! 🐾
For more than 20 years, Ms. Gina was a special part of our Panther family. Although she retired a couple of years ago, she came back to visit her custodial crew—and she didn’t come empty-handed! She brought some of her special food to share.
We sure miss having Gina around, but it was SO good to see that smiling face! Once you’re part of the Panther family, you’re always part of the Panther family! 🐾💚🖤
Huge THANK YOU to AA Plumbing, Heating & Cooling for providing lunch for our staff during Meet the Teacher AND donating school supplies for our Panthers! 🐾📚 We appreciate your support! 💚🖤
Thank you, Northeast Bible Church, for providing 116 backpacks filled with school supplies to help Schertz Elementary students start the school year prepared and ready to succeed! 🎒📚✏️

Our music teacher, Shyanne Bermuda, and her Fine Arts team took us on a Blast from the Past: Dance Through the Decades! 💃🕺 From throwback moves to plenty of school spirit, they brought the fun! 🎶✨
And one of our newest Panthers, Junette Twiggs, joined our cafeteria crew and even took home LOTS of goodies after winning the giant crowd game of Heads or Tails! 🙌🎁

My name is Valeria Elizabeth Lara! Something about me is that I just recently moved to Cibolo, TX about a month ago. I’ve worked in education for about 5 years with an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education. I started working at La Petite Academy as a teacher assistant to a lead teacher for about 2.5+ years then chose to work at Harlingen CISD as a SPED Paraprofessional for 2.5+ years. I fell in love with teaching and working alongside with students that I can help make a difference and feel supported no matter the needs. My hobbies is that I love to read, do puzzles, and keeping active at the gym. I’m currently a SPED Paraprofessional with Schertz Elementary School and I thank you for welcoming me to your panther family. I’m so excited what this new school year will bring and getting to grow within your team!
