🎉 Teacher of the Year Spotlight 🎉
We are proud to celebrate Mr. Joseph Mejia, our amazing 3rd grade teacher, as Schertz Elementary’s Teacher of the Year! 🍎✨
Mr. Mejia’s dedication, positivity, and commitment to his students make a lasting impact every day. We are so thankful for the heart, hard work, and excellence he brings to our campus.
Congratulations, Mr. Mejia — this honor is well deserved! 👏🎊

Kindness Week is next week! 💛 We’ll be celebrating with fun dress-up days all week long. Check out the attached calendar and join the fun! (Don't forget tennis shoes on PE days.)

Our kinders celebrated the 100th Day of School in the most adorable way — with their annual parade dressed like they’re 100 years old! 👵🧓
So much laughter, creativity, and cuteness… absolutely hilarious! 🎉💯

Brrrr! 🥶 After yesterday’s school cancellation, our staff was bundled up and ready to greet our kiddos with warm smiles this morning. ❄️🧣 Stay warm!

Thank you to the Clemens varsity softball team for spending time on our campus and reading with our panthers! We loved having visitors join our class - such a fun and meaningful experience for our students. 🐾 📕 We also want to thank our amazing 4th grade ambassadors who escorted our softball players to and from various locations.

January is School Board Appreciation Month! Thank you to SCUCISD School Board for your service, leadership, and unwavering dedication to our students, staff, and community. Your commitment makes a lasting difference.

Warm holiday wishes to our Panther family! Enjoy the season! 🎄💙

Specials classes brought the holiday cheer! 🎶🖌️🎄 Caroling with choir, shaving cream art, and lighted obstacle fun with PE equipment made the past few weeks extra merry.

HOLIDAY FUN everywhere you look 🎅🏻 🎶 Snow machines and pizza parties to ugly sweaters, holiday pjs, WHO-hair and festive socks! The past few days have been packed with joy and school spirit. ❤️ 💚

Our staff Christmas Social was a wonderful way to celebrate the season together! 🎄 Held in the library, staff enjoyed delicious food, beautiful table décor, and tons of desserts (yum!).
We were also treated to surprise entertainment from some of our incredibly talented teachers. Mrs. Sawyer, Ms. Cooper, and Miss Bermuda filled the room with carols, accompanied by Mrs. Spivey on piano and Mrs. Carrillo on cello. The music created the perfect ambiance as everyone talked, laughed, and enjoyed time together—something teachers don’t often get to do.
Panther Family, we wish all of you a safe, restful, and happy holiday season! 🐾

Creativity on display! 🎨📐
Our 1st–4th graders shared the amazing projects they’ve been working on this fall with their GT cluster teachers. So proud of their dedication and imagination!

✨ Bravo to our 3rd graders! ✨
Tonight’s holiday program was truly special as students brought The Nutcracker to life through dance, acting, music, and storytelling. The students created their own music and dances, making this performance even more incredible! Despite several key performers being out sick, our Panthers stepped up, took on additional roles, and rose to the occasion with confidence and teamwork. Their creativity, resilience, and joy truly shined on stage. A huge thank-you to Miss Bermuda for another out-of-the-box program that allowed our students to take ownership of their learning. What an amazing night! 🎄🩰🎶
