🌟🐾 Our 1st PAWS-itivity Walk was a huge success! 🐾🌟
Today, our entire school came together to focus on good thoughts and finding the positive—even when things aren’t perfect. When we practice positive thinking, we train our brains to focus on our strengths and make our minds happier! 💛
Despite the heat, we had an amazing time walking, dancing, singing, and even doing the limbo! 🎶💃🕺 A huge thank you to our incredible DJ, Mr. Ramos, for keeping the energy high with great music on the track! A HUGE shoutout to Mrs. Armendariz for organizing a great event!




April 4th is Librarian Appreciation Day. Thank you to our librarian, Mrs. Rappmund, and librarian assistant, Ms. Ortiz. We celebrate you today!


🐾✨ Our 1st graders were thrilled to invite their Kindergarten friends to their Animal Research Project Showcase! 🎉🐍🦁
From Canva presentations to trifold displays, sculpted models, and PebbleGo research, our young scholars showcased their hard work in creative ways!
The excitement was real—one eager Kindergartener exclaimed, “You mean I get to do this next year?!” 🤩👏




Today, we celebrate the amazing paraprofessionals who go above and beyond every day to support students, teachers, and classrooms. Happy Paraprofessional Day


Our Pre-K students had an exciting week touring the specials they’ll enjoy in kindergarten! From making music and exploring art to discovering books in the library, learning in the computer lab, and getting active in PE — they got a fun sneak peek of what’s ahead. We can’t wait to see them shine next year!

Our Panthers gave an outstanding performance at the SCUC Multicultural Showcase this past Saturday! Sara (2nd grader) played the drums alongside her sister, Saidee (student at Wilder). The Panther Choir showed their talent by singing and dancing. Saul played a beautiful violin performance of Recuerdame. Great job to all of our talented Panthers!

This week, we celebrate the amazing work of Communities in Schools and Mrs. Armendariz in helping students stay in school and achieve their dreams! From mentorship to resources, CIS is making a difference in countless lives.Thank you to to Mrs. Armendariz for supporting all of our Panthers, big or small!


40 years ago the National Association for Music Education designated March to celebrate music education in our schools.


💚🐾Future Panthers on the Prowl! 🐾💚
Schertz Elementary was buzzing with excitement as we welcomed several dozen families for our Pre-K/Kindergarten Round-Up! Future Panthers and their families toured the school and got a glimpse of the fun and learning ahead.




First grade celebrated their family picnic on Friday followed by a family engagement Math event. Our first grade Panthers were eager to teach their family members how to play a variety of math games that focused on their addition and subtraction skills.

🌧️🐎 Rain or Shine, First Graders Ride On! 🐎🌧️
Our 1st graders has an unforgettable field trip this week, braving the rain to experience the San Antonio Rodeo fairgrounds. While the weather didn't cooperate, our little cowboys and cowgirls soaked in all the fun. 🐴💨



Campus will be closed Friday Feb 14 and Monday Feb 17th.


Had a fantastic time at our 2nd Grade Family Picnic and Parent Engagement event, where we focused on strengthening foundational math skills! Families were introduced to a variety of fun, hands-on games to help reinforce these skills at home.
