Mrs. Molleda is one of our newest 5th grade ELAR & SS teachers, she loves a good family road trip, hanging at the beach and cheering for her favorite sports teams: San Antonio Spurs and Texas Rangers.
She has 2 boys, one that will be attending Schlather this year and one in 8th grade at Corbett.

Welcome our newest ALE & ICS paraprofessionals Ernestine Latt & Jennifer Padgett!
Mrs. Latt is a wife and a mother of four kids one that is special needs. She chose this profession to give back! She enjoys time with her family, and her hobbies are baking and going camping!
Ms. Padget is a trivia buff and loves music, being at the beach and she also love pirates and cosplay!

Members of the Husky Pack were locked Friday afternoon as our school leadership along with Schertz PD and Cibolo PD SROs share the seriousness and consequences of "Threat Regret". Ms. Meade has worked in public libraries in Oklahoma City and Brownsville, TX. She is very excited to be working with our Schlather Huskies this school year!
Ms. Meade's favorite color is purple and she is also a Wizard of Oz collector. Her favorite genre of books is fantasy.
She also has 2 dogs: A 16 year old lab and a 1 year old Belgian Malinois.
She can relate to our very own "We Serve Too" students and Band students as she was a military kid herself and she also used to play clarinet in band.

Mr. Austin Lowenberg is on his third year as part of the Husky Pack and excited to be back.
A graduate from UTSA with a Multidisciplinary Science degree and holds teaching certifications in Science (7–12) and Special Education.
After being honored as Sub of the Year, he is looking forward to another great year helping students grow.
Outside the classroom, you'll usually find him enjoying the outdoors, cheering on sports, exploring science and history, or keeping up with his two kids.

5th grade students in Mrs. Mendez’s class created amazing 3D models inspired by the novel, Holes! Their creativity, attention to detail, and hard work made these projects truly outstanding.
As part of our Character Strong creativity unit, Mrs. Rindahl's homeroom teamed up to create this bulletin board showcasing the character traits we’ve worked on all year! Students designed, voted, organized into committees, and worked together to finish it just in time for the 4th grade tours. Great teamwork and creativity from these kids! 🎨✨
Mrs. Jackson’s science students had a blast learning about force and motion! Students designed an Angry Birds-themed pig city and built their own catapults to test out physics in action by knocking it all down. Hands-on learning + creativity = so much fun! 😍

Our Schlather 6th Grade Art students took learning beyond the classroom with a trip to the zoo for a still life drawing experience! Students explored observation drawing while making meaningful connections to their learning in science and social studies. A special thank you to Mrs. Hawthorne and Mrs. Harris for helping bring those cross-curricular connections to life.
Mrs. Tucke was thrilled to share the experience with 84 amazing students and is so grateful for the support of our wonderful chaperones, Mrs. Stolle, and the teachers who came along to help make the day such a success. Even in a spring semester packed with end-of-year testing, our teachers continue to go above and beyond to create meaningful learning experiences for students. From hands-on activities to creative, real-world applications, classrooms are still filled with engagement, curiosity, and opportunities for students to truly connect with what they’re learning. We are so proud of the dedication, passion, and perseverance our teachers pour into their students all year long.
On May 4th the Schlather Husky Choir sang for the final time in their Spring Concert. They worked so hard on their 5 songs and learned Swahili for their song "Jambo Rafiki", blasted the 80s tune "Never Ending Story", took a "Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride", danced away to "Try Everything" and closed the show with "Count on Me" by Bruno Mars. There were soloists, small groups, great ensembles, and many awards given out. It was a night to remember and showcased the fun, growth, and learning that happens in Choir!
Tomorrow, May 6th, is National School Nurse Appreciation Day is today, and we are so grateful for Nurse Moreno 💛
She is sweet as pie, keeps our Huskies in the very best care, and is truly a cornerstone of our school. From band aids to big worries, she shows up with kindness, calm, and so much heart every single day.
Be sure to show her some love this week! 🐾
Schlather 6th graders are beginning to wrap up their year in fine arts, and their final performances are rolling in!
This past Saturday, the SCUC Celebrate the Arts show featured our 6th grade artists’ top projects from the year, and they were truly something special. Several of our Husky artists were selected from the Intermediate School level to receive ribbons!
We are so proud of their creativity and hard work. Congratulations to all of these talented students and we can’t wait to share the exciting performances still to come! 🐾
