Happy Crossing Guard Appreciation Day! We are so thankful for our crossing guards who help keep our school community safe every day. Rain or shine, we appreciate you!

Our ALE students spent this week learning about friendship—how to care for one another, work together, and celebrate what makes us unique. They wrapped it up by making a fun “friendship mix,” because friendships are better when shared! #SCUCproud

A heartfelt thank you to the Puente family for the beautiful sweaters gifted to some of our teachers. Your kindness is truly appreciated. It’s our families and community that make Sippel such a special place—thank you for being a part of that. 🩷

Our 1st graders are #1! These 1st graders are 101 days smarter, stronger, and a little sillier thanks to their teachers. Happy 101st day of school! (Phew, that's a lot of 1's.)

100 days of school and our little learners have grown taller, wiser, and aged a bit! Still full of smiles and laughter today they celebrated how much they’ve grown one school day at a time!

LEGO Masters in the Library!
Our 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders built and coded LEGO creations while learning teamwork, problem-solving, and basic coding skills. Big ideas + little engineers = lots of fun!

Reach for the Lexia Stars! First grade added 35 level up stars last quarter!!! Super stars!!!

Happy Law Enforcement Day to Officer Zuniga! From keeping our campus safe to always bringing a smile (and a great sense of humor), he truly goes above and beyond every day. We are so grateful for your dedication, kindness, and commitment to our school community. Thank you, Officer Zuniga, for everything you do, we appreciate you more than words can say! #WeAreSCUC ##SCUCproud

First grade is full of future scientists! Students dug into the world beneath their feet as they explored soil through hands-on investigation. Through questioning, touching, and comparing, students observed different types of soil, discovered tiny living things, and learned how soil helps plants grow. Learning is best when we dig right in!

Meredith Aldis from Fox 7 News made a special visit to her mom’s class, Ms. Aldis’s classroom, and brought the exciting world of TV news to life! She gave students a behind-the-scenes look at who works in television news, what a news reporter does each day, and shared some of the fun, memorable stories she’s had the chance to cover. Students were engaged, curious, and thrilled to learn what it’s like to be part of a fast-paced newsroom and see how stories make it to the screen.

Double the pink, double the power! Ms. Aldis and Mrs. Paulsen showed up serving looks as the ultimate dynamic duo, twinning in the same pink outfit!
Proof that great minds and great teachers really do think alike! 🩷🩷

Shout-out to our very own donut hero Mr. Kong of Grand Donuts in Cibolo! His generous donut donations keep our teachers fueled, smiling, and feeling appreciated. We’re so thankful for supportive community partners like Mr. Kong who show up with sweetness (literally!) and reflect the incredible support that surrounds our school. #WeAreSCUC #SCUCCommunity

Today was a joyful send off as Sippel buzzed with fun and togetherness on our last day before the holiday break! Our Library Leaders kicked off the morning with a festive celebration in the library. First grade delighted in creating gingerbread houses alongside friends and families, while classrooms across the building enjoyed yummy treats, cozy movies, and special moments spent with one another. It was a beautiful day of laughter, creativity, and connection.
We wish all of our Sippel families a happy, healthy holiday season filled with warmth and joy. Thank you for being such an important part of our community, and we can’t wait to see everyone in the new year!

Today’s house assembly was so epic it couldn’t fit into just one post! We proudly celebrated some amazing students as our House Heroes, and those who earned the most house points had their moment to shine brighter than Rudolph’s nose.
But wait, there's more! Our special guests jumped right into the holiday chaos with musical chairs and races that had everyone cheering.
Now that’s what we call a holly-jolly house assembly!

We wrapped up the last house assembly of the 1st semester in full holiday cheer! Our cheerleaders brought the spirit, our twirlers kept us spinning, and our spirits were energized.
It was the perfect way to jingle into the holidays! We were full of laughter, school spirit, and house pride. What a fun and memorable send-off to an amazing semester!

Our holiday musical season wrapped up tonight with our wonderful 3rd and 4th graders! Their bright smiles, brave voices, and festive spirit filled the stage and warmed every heart. So proud of these students and grateful for a joyful, music filled holiday celebration. Happy Holidays! 🎄⭐️
A huge thank you to Mr. Stanley, our amazing music teacher, for making it all possible!

The Grinch made a surprise visit to our school today! He stirred up some playful trouble and lots of laughs. Our students had an absolute blast! As the Grinch would say, "It's not about what's under the tree, but who's gathered around it." It's all about our 3Ps: Purpose, People, and Partnerships. #GrinchDay #WeAreSCUC

The halls are alive with the smell of tamales! Ms. Blanca Avalos makes delicious tamales every year for staff. Thank you so much for all your hard in creating such scrumptious treats.

Cue the lights and turn up the music because we have some kindergarteners, 1st graders, and 2nd graders who are ready to sing their hearts out with some holiday music! Tonight’s performers may be small, but their holiday spirit is HUGE! Our Stallions are ready to sing their hearts out and fill the room with joy, laughter, and love. Happy Holidays everyone! 🎶 #WeAreSCUC

Get ready to spin, shine, and smile—because the Stallion Twirlers are where the magic happens! Whether it’s mastering new tricks, building confidence, or just having a blast with friends, this team knows how to light up the room. As we like to say, “Twirling isn’t a hobby. It’s a way of life.”
A huge thank-you to Ms. Aldis and Mrs. Paulson for keeping our batons (and our spirits!) twirling. You make the fun go ’round!
