The Texas Wildlife Association visited our school to offer an exciting hands-on experience for students, diving into the world of birds. Through interactive lessons and activities, students learned about the diverse characteristics of various bird species, including their physical traits, behaviors, and habitats. The session also focused on helping students identify birds in the wild, giving them practical tools to recognize different species during outdoor adventures. It was a fun and educational opportunity to connect with nature and develop a deeper appreciation for local wildlife! Thank you to our librarian, Mrs. Morales, the Texas Wildlife Association, and Yvonne Keranen for bringing this experience to our students!

Today, we had a special visit from FCCLA students from Steele High School! They presented to classes about the power of kindness and why it matters in our everyday lives. With Kindness Month just around the corner, their message was a perfect reminder of how small acts of kindness can make a big difference. Let’s carry their inspiration forward and spread kindness wherever we go! #KindnessMatters #FCCLA #KindnessMonth
