The Texas Wildlife Association visited our school to offer an exciting hands-on experience for students, diving into the world of birds. Through interactive lessons and activities, students learned about the diverse characteristics of various bird species, including their physical traits, behaviors, and habitats. The session also focused on helping students identify birds in the wild, giving them practical tools to recognize different species during outdoor adventures. It was a fun and educational opportunity to connect with nature and develop a deeper appreciation for local wildlife! Thank you to our librarian, Mrs. Morales, the Texas Wildlife Association, and Yvonne Keranen for bringing this experience to our students!

A beautiful rainbow greeted our students at drop off this morning. It was a lovely reminder to our students to keep chasing their dreams and working hard because there are prizes at the end of the rainbows. 🌈
Today, we had a special visit from FCCLA students from Steele High School! They presented to classes about the power of kindness and why it matters in our everyday lives.

Do you wanna build a snowman? Students in the library used our new STEAM tool, Clixo, to build their own snowmen. Clixo are magnetic flexible origami pieces that students can use to make their imagination come to life. What will they build next?

Amistad-Isibindi-Reveur-Altruismo... 4 houses 1 FAMILY!!! The second house party of the year was the best one yet! Our house leaders lead the charge with games, chants, and so much fun! Even some of our parents got in on the fun too by being sorted into their own houses! Talk about the perfect way to kick off our holiday break.
