Key Exam Policies and Requirements

  • Exam Weight: Semester exams count as 20% of the final semester grade.

  • Mandatory: There are No Exemptions for Fall Semester Exams.

  • Scheduling: No exams may be given early.

  • Makeups: Makeup exams will take place the first week of school in January at the teacher's discretion.

  • Absences: Students who miss an exam will receive a score of "1" for the exam grade until the makeup is completed.

  • No Interruptions: Students must remain in the testing room for the full period. We will not interrupt any classes or call students out during the testing window for any reason unless it is an emergency.

Lunch Protocol on Exam Days

To respect the testing environment, specific guidelines are in place for students during the lunch period:

  • Juniors & Seniors (with Off-Campus ID): May leave campus or report to the cafeteria / courtyard.

  • Underclassmen (Freshmen & Sophomores): Must report to the cafeteria / courtyard.

  • Campus Stay: Any student who remains on campus during their scheduled lunch must report to the cafeteria for the entire duration of the lunch.
