As October arrives and autumn fills the air, the school library is getting into the spooky spirit with a fresh lineup of seasonal titles designed to give readers thrills, chills, and mysterious surprises.
Starting this week, students and staff can explore a specially curated collection of Halloween Reads, featuring everything from classic horror and psychological thrillers to supernatural mysteries and cozy autumn fiction. Whether you are looking for a bone-chilling ghost story or a lighthearted fantasy, there is something on the display shelves for every level of spine-tingling preference.
For those feeling adventurous, the library is also bringing back its popular Blind Borrow Books initiative. Wrapped in plain paper with only a genre tags, these books encourage students to judge a story by its content rather than its cover. It is the ultimate literary blind date—pick a wrapped book, check it out at the front desk, and unwrap your secret read when you get home.
Both the Halloween display and the Blind Borrow selection are available now near the library entrance. Supplies for the Blind Borrow books are limited and will be refreshed throughout the month, so be sure to stop by early for the best selection.
Don't let the season pass you by without a good story—visit the library today, check out a spooky title or a mystery package, and dive into your next autumn read!
