Big congratulations to Steele High School senior, Aubriella Kolar!
Aubriella recently entered a contest with the League of Women Voters of Comal County and won! Her beautiful artwork is now featured on Election Day stickers for voters to proudly wear, including our own students who will participate in a mock election today.

Global Impressions: Art & Play Across Cultures The concept of art and play transcends cultural boundaries, serving as a universal language that connects people from diverse backgrounds. Each culture offers a unique perspective on these fundamental aspects of human expression and interaction. Art and play are integral to the human experience, reflecting the values, beliefs, and histories of different cultures. By exploring these practices across the globe, we gain a deeper appreciation for the diversity and creativity that define our world. Students were introduced to the art of Africa, Asia, and Central America by our guest speaker, Theresa Vargas. They had the opportunity to try to replicate some of the art shown or express themselves with completely original art. They looked at board games from around the world and learned when they were created and by which country. Several of these games were played. Among all of these students were also given physical challenges and brain twisters. Interspersed in the events, raffle prizes were given out. The GT symposium was a huge hit! ❤️
