The SCUC Education Foundation visited Mrs. Kimberly Walker-Dennis’ Pre-K classroom today to highlight Grants in Action and showcase the meaningful impact these grants have on students and classrooms.
Thanks to a grant awarded to Mrs. Walker-Dennis, her classroom calming corner was updated to create a supportive space where students can learn strategies for self-regulation, manage big emotions, and build skills for success both in and out of the classroom.
