About Us

Serving Grades Pre-K through 4

At our school, students arrive with curiosity and leave with the confidence to lead. We know the early years are the beginning of a lifelong learning journey, and we’re proud to help build a strong foundation for every child.

We’re committed to creating a nurturing and engaging environment where every student feels seen, supported, and inspired to learn. Our dedicated educators work together to build meaningful connections with students, families, and our community because we know that helping children grow is a team effort.

Here, we believe growth goes beyond academics. We help students develop the skills they need to navigate the world around them, including independence, resilience, and leadership. While they may not be able to control everything around them, we empower them to recognize what they can control and take ownership of their choices.

Our goal is to help every student reach their full potential—academically, socially, and emotionally. We encourage children to explore their individual interests, discover their strengths, and find the things that inspire and motivate them to learn.

Together, we’re building confident, capable learners and future leaders who are ready to thrive—not only in school, but in all that comes next.

As a Watts student, your child will cultivate a love for learning, spark their curiosity, and build a strong foundation for lifelong education while also developing their social and emotional skills. We are a Capturing Kids' Hearts school. Beyond the classroom, they have the opportunity to explore their interests or discover new passions through a variety of clubs, programs, and organizations.

Depending on your address, your student will progress through 5th and 6th grade at Jordan Intermediate or Wilder Intermediate, they not only build a stronger academic base but also broaden their social circles and experiences.

As their academic foundation expands in the classroom at Dobie Junior High or Corbett Junior High their circle of friends and experiences will grow through athletics, fine arts, UIL contests, National Junior Honors Society, and more.

At Byron P Steele II High School or Clemens High School, your child will excel academically and socially while embracing traditions and memories that will last throughout their life. Your child has the freedom and support to pursue their passions in a variety of nationally recognized programs, organizations and clubs from athletics to JROTC, band, dance, photography, UIL and more.
