๐โจApril 4th was National Librarian Day.
Mrs. Lindsey is no stranger to Wilderโafter working here before and then checking out retirement from Clemens, she came back to write another chapter with us. Sheโs incredibly smart, endlessly helpful, and truly novelโworthy. Weโre so grateful she stepped up and stepped in as our longโterm sub while we search for a permanent librarian. What a pageโturner of a year itโs been with her! ๐

The Monsters have arrived at Wilder, where they're sharing the powerful story of 6th grader Gaven Quirarte, who faces the challenges of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy with a courage that inspires everyone around him. As they speak to his classmates they hope they see not just the changes he endures, but the extraordinary strength and spirit he brings to every momentโincluding riding motorcycles with Mile Monsters Inc. Their mission is to open hearts, build understanding, and show that Monsters stand beside incredible kids like Gaven so they can live their very best life. ๐๏ธ๐

Wilder celebrated Kindness week in many ways. We dress up to show our support and have fun while doing it. Especially, when teachers dress as students and students dress like the teachers.
