REMINDER: Tennis tryouts this week!

Let's give a round of applause (and some gift bags) to the incredible bus drivers who navigate our busy roads and ensure our Cougars arrive at school ready to learn and get home safely. They're often the first and last faces our students see each day. Thank you for your commitment, we "wheely" appreciate you!

Huge shoutout to our amazing librarian for putting together a special story time and craft activity for our ALE students! 📚✂️ It's wonderful to see our kids engaged in reading and hands-on learning.

Shoutout to Dobie's Teacher of the Year, Mr. Carter, an amazing teacher who makes learning fun and engaging for all his students! 🎉 He's not only a fantastic science teacher with creative lessons, but he also goes above and beyond, supporting kids of all learning abilities. Mr. Carter takes on extra roles like GT and UIL coordinator, attends extracurriculars, and genuinely cares about each child. He builds strong relationships, understands their needs, and is always positive, even on tough days. He's a true team player and an inspiration to his students and colleagues.

February's Minute to Win It challenge was the nut stacker. Students for each lunch were selected at random from February's character card recognitions. The winners were:
Rayne C-J
Chloe O'B
Luke M
Jayden D
Mariah H
Taliyah H
Abigail R
Ava M

Late last week, 7th grade science played a review board game. They had a blast and it helped reinforce their knowledge and confidence before their Watersheds and Oceans test. We are loving this creative review!

Track and Field starts soon!

Tennis tryout information has changed!

This Thursday!

Yee haw! Our Cougars sure know how to boot, scoot, AND boogie! Last dance of the year was a success. Thank you for everyone who came out and to all our volunteers ❤️

Yesterday afternoon, girls' soccer dominated vs Legacy with Steele soccer there to cheer them on to victory! 8th grade won 4-0 and 7th won 3-0.
This morning, Steele senior and former Cougar Caiden D, came and gave a message to FCA. Mrs. Muha, co-sponsor, said "He did such an amazing job speaking Life into our kiddos."

Reminders for this Friday's Dance:

Connecting our military-connected students is a priority at Dobie! Thanks to Alaya C and Mason R for attending the S2S Jamboree and learning how to strengthen these important connections. Being military kids themselves, they know what it is like to be the new kid on campus.
