Meet our Second Grade team at Green Valley! These ladies are planting seeds of learning that will last a lifetime.

PreK spent some time learning about our school - Green Valley - and all about grizzly bears. Learning and shining every day!

Using cups and seeds, our 2nd grade mathematicians composed numbers up to 1,200. They used their art skills to draw a pictorial model and math skills to identify how many numbers were in each category. Way to go Grizzlies!

3rd graders put their engineering brains - and teamwork! - together to build bridges. Great job Grizzlies!

Building Relationships in Kinder! The Flamingo class builds relationships by having a King or Queen of the day!

PreK students had the opportunity to listen to Chicka Chicka Boom Boom and then make hats with their names on them! Way to work with the alphabet.

Fourth graders started their Ancient World art projects by learning about the mystery of the Stonehenge monument. Next, they will add vibrant watercolors to finish their art.

Our first grade scientists hard at work classifying and sorting objects to determine how they are alike and different!

4th graders used what they learned about the engineering design process by creating towers of pencils using only masking tape, pencils, and an apple. The goal is to have the tallest tower while still able to support the apple on top.

First grade students learning how to communicate effectively in math - finding their math voices!

A huge Grizzly thank you to Mercury in Motion for the amazing donation of backpacks and supplies!

2nd graders hard at work brainstorming! What is math? How do we use it in our world?

Shoutout to the Grizzlies who completed their Summer Reading Logs!"

Getting to know each other through math talks! First Grade Students chose their three favorite numbers and explained to a partner. Students then worked on listening and speaking skills by sharing what their partner said to them!

3rd grade students used playdoh to create items that represented them. This student created a rose with her play dough. Students used the items to introduce themselves and explain what they made.

After reading the Crayon Box that Talked students had to work together and use kind words to make their pictures complete! Each student is unique but together as a class we are complete!

3rd graders worked on building their community today by brainstorming ways to show kindness. Kind Grizzlies are the best!
