First-grade grizzlies are working in groups to explore what equal means using pan balances during math!

Students and staff came to school with the wackiest, most colorful hairstyles you could imagine - rainbow braids, cupcake, mohawks, and more!









Grizzlies kicked off our Red Ribbon Week by wearing red on Monday. There was a sea of red to be seen all over campus!

First graders using addition and subtraction strategies to solve tasks with a partner!

Students and staff showed their support for breast cancer awareness by wearing pink on Pink Out Day. The school was filled with pink shirts, boas, and smiles as everyone came together to show support for an important cause.

The Schertz Fire Department visited Green Valley on Friday to teach students about fire safety and prevention. Students enjoyed learning safety tips, seeing the fire truck, and meeting real firefighters!







4th grade Grizzlies celebrated National Crocs Day by showing off their crocs. Great style Grizzlies!

We celebrated Unity Day by wearing orange to show our stand against bullying. Our goal as Grizzlies is to stand up, speak out, and spread kindness!

4th graders practice rounding with the visual of a balloon of what happens to the rounding place- The place to the right of the rounding digit tells us how many fingers to let go of our balloon... If your "balloon" goes up, you're rounded place goes up!

In fourth grade, the future shines brighter every day. The fourth grade teachers are busy growing minds all day long!
