Opening Day called for a little friendly competition at Schlather! ⚾️ Our staff picked their teams and showed up repping them for Major League Baseball’s big day. Who are you rooting for this season? ❤️

Big congratulations to Mrs. Adams, our 2025–2026 Paraprofessional of the Year! Since joining Schlather in 2023, Mrs. Adams has been the friendly face behind attendance and the steady support our campus depends on. She leads with kindness, cares deeply for our teachers and students, and is always ready to help with a smile. We are so grateful for the heart, positivity, and dedication she brings to our Husky family every single day. 💙🐾 #HuskyPride

We’re excited to introduce our new Student Voice Box!

This gives students a simple way to share their questions, concerns, problems, or ideas to improve our campus. Once a month, submissions will be collected and reviewed so we can better support our students.

This initiative was created by our Ambassador Club to help make sure every student feels heard and valued in our husky school community.

Our Schlather 5th graders truly shined tonight at the SCUC ISD 5th Grade District Choir! After auditioning last November with over 100 Schlather students, 40 were selected to be part of the choir. Since January, they have dedicated themselves to weekly rehearsals, preparing for today’s clinic and concert under the direction of Mrs. Sara Trammell from Lopez Middle School. They sang beautifully and represented Schlather with excellence. It was truly a night to remember! 🎶✨

Schlather Lost & Found is officially… a department store now 😅 If your child is missing a jacket, hoodie, water bottle, or possibly their entire wardrobe- get them to come take a look! We’ve got enough here to clothe a small village (or at least 4 very full tables). Thanks parents!!

Schlather Intermediate is proud to celebrate Mrs. Bryan for being selected as one of Kinsey Deason’s Top 20 Teachers! Kinsey was a student in Mrs. Bryan’s 5th and 6th grade classes, and it’s clear the impact of great teachers lasts far beyond intermediate school. Since leaving Schlather, Kinsey has accomplished so much in band, including performing on the euphonium, earning Superior (1) ratings on solos in 2023, 2024, and 2025, and serving in leadership roles as Assistant Drum Major (2023–2024) and Head Drum Major (2024–2026). She has also been a member of Wind Ensemble since 2023, earned Region Band honors, and serves as a Band Board Representative. We are so proud of Kinsey and honored that she chose Mrs. Bryan as one of the teachers who made a lasting difference in her journey. Once a Husky, always a Husky!

Nothing says “hello, Spring Break!” like popsicles with friends. Husky students enjoyed a sweet treat to celebrate the last day before the break. Have a wonderful Spring Break! 🐾☀️

💙🚓 In recognition of National SRO Appreciation Day (Feb. 15) We want to take a moment to thank Officer Tapia for all he does for Schlather Intermediate. His dedication, kindness, and commitment to our students make a meaningful difference every day. We are grateful for you!

Husky POV: Heard the most beautiful singing echoing down the hallway this morning and had to peek into the choir room 🥹 The 5th grade honor band was rehearsing, and wow—pure talent. So proud of these students and the joy they bring to our campus.
