
The Watts Elementary Cheer Cats had an exciting morning practice! Thanks to the Watts PTC who generously gifted a set of pom-poms for each member of the team to use.


The Texas Wildlife Association visited Sippel Elementary to offer an exciting hands-on experience for students, diving into the world of birds. It was a fun and educational opportunity to connect with nature and develop a deeper appreciation for local wildlife!





This month, 8th-grade Gifted and Talented students from Corbett and Dobie Junior High School participated in Model U.N! Students began their work in October, researching their assigned country and the country's position on two main topics of debate.




Paschal Elementary students have big dreams and had a fabulous time making their vision boards at their P.T.C. meeting! They are sure to be #FutureReady!





Wilder Intermediate thanks their new community partner, High Ridge Lending Inc., for restocking their staff lounge! It’s a great way to kick off the new year!


Thank you to the Clemens Softball Team for visiting Schertz Elementary PK-1 classes today! The students loved having the team read with them, and they brought so much energy and fun to P.E.! We appreciate the team's time and enthusiasm. A couple of players are also former Panthers!




Last week, Sippel Elementary had special visitors from Steele FFCLA. They presented the power of kindness in everyday life. With Kindness Month just around the corner, this was a perfect reminder of how small acts of kindness can make a big difference!

Eight student-athletes from Byron P. Steele High School signed their national letters-of-intent to continue to academic and athletic careers this morning: La'aria Miller, Colton Tolleson, Chad Warner, Jalen Cooper, Royal Capell, Sean Robinson, Samuel Harris, and Christian Watson

Olympic sprinter Andrew Hudson was a special guest at Byron P. Steele High School's game versus Buda Johnson. Hudson, who graduated from Steele HS in 2015 and wore his letterman jacket from that time, received a warm welcome from the crowd in attendance. He competed for Jamaica in the 200 meter sprints at the Games held in Paris this past August.


Congratulations to the four Samuel Clemens High School student-athletes who signed their letters of intent to continue to their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level in a ceremony held in the Beard Gym on November 13th. Students include: Scott Ledbetter, Volleyball, Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College (Indiana), Isabella Andrews, Volleyball, Texas State University, Alex Kolodziejski, Golf, University of the Incarnate Word, and Shiv Parmar, Golf, Texas A&M University .


Shout out to our Clemens Texas Association of Future Educators (TAFE) students that dominated at the recent Area competition. Fourteen students will advance to State competitions in February 2025.


Congrats to the Samuel Clemens High School Belles and thank you for your efforts to work to make Dance a UIL reality someday by competing in a pilot competition by the Texas Dance Educators Association.


Congratulations to the SCUC ISD Education Foundation, named non-profit of the year by The Chamber on Tuesday, November 19th. The Foundation is made up volunteers who have tirelessly worked to improve educational outcomes for all students through teaching grants, new employee supply grants, education scholarships and employee recognition events in SCUC. Take a bow!

Big congratulations to Steele High School senior, Aubriella Kolar!
Aubriella recently entered a contest with the League of Women Voters of Comal County and won! Her beautiful artwork is now featured on Election Day stickers for voters to proudly wear, including our own students who will participate in a mock election today.
We’re so proud of Aubriella for using her talent to inspire our community and make a lasting impact on this important day. Way to go, Aubriella!

Green Valley Elementary, Schertz Elementary, and Paschal Elementary celebrated the 50th day of school with a fun theme day!







The Steele Key Club - at 60 members strong - put in work on October 12th with their “Adopt A Highway” project; they picked up trash covering TWO MILES on 1103! A HUGE thank you to the students, families, and the sponsors, Mr. And Mrs. Favela!


Students faced off against staff in a minute-to-win-it challenge at Dobie. Participants needed to move as many pieces of cereal as they could from a plate to a cup using chopsticks. Students were chosen at random from those who received a recognition card this month.
