Five student-athletes from Samuel Clemens High School signed their letters of intent to continue their academic and athletic dreams at the collegiate level at a ceremony held this morning in the gymnasium. The event was delayed one week because of End of Course testing that took place on December 3rd. Four sports were represented: beach volleyball, swimming, baseball and football. Congratulations to Mylee Walleck - Senior, that won Reserve Champion in 2D at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo Western Art Contest – Pastels/Chalk Drawing for her work titled Wild Horses. She is an AP Art, IB student and a member of color guard. Her work will be displayed at the Briscoe Western Art Museum in San Antonio, Texas, from January through March 2026.

Clemens Senior, Jake Voos, is truly 1 out of a 100. He has won the 2025 Valero Alamo Bowl HS Scholarship and will receive a $7,500 scholarship. 👏🏽

Scholarships were awarded based on academic achievement, teacher recommendations, involvement in extracurricular activities, participation in varsity sports, honors received and a personal narrative.

Our History Club was able to tour the Alamo and other historical sites today. These are valuable opportunities for our students to create memorable experiences to add to their learning through an interactive experience.

Our SUPER Scientists were at it again. This time they took over learning at Wilder and put on some engaging lessons for our 5th grade students. Big shout out to our students who are the leading the learning and our phenomenal teachers Ms. Debney, Ms. Grant, and Ms. Peters. Just another example of our Buffs championing the next generation.

Shout out to our Choir students and their Director Ms. Specht. 18 students represented Clemens at the TMEA Choir Concert with 9 advancing to Pre-Area round. 6 students advanced to the Area round of auditions to be held in January with a chance to advance to State. Congratulations Buffs!

CHAMPIONS x 2 Our boys basketball team JV and Varsity both brought the hardware back to Schertz from the Round Rock Tourney. Jakai Woods was named MVP. #GoBuffs #Champions 💛🏆💙

Our Key Club along with several of our clubs/organizations pitched in to gift our support staff a "Thanksgiving in a Box" that comes complete with a frozen turkey, pumpkin pie, and several fixings. 54 boxes to bless the silent heroes of our campus. We are grateful to have them. #GoBuffs #Champions 💛🏆💙
