Congratulations to 16 of our AFJROTC cadets on demonstrating exceptional pride, tenacity, grit, and determination during the JROTC Summer Leadership Camp at Hardin-Simmons University earlier this month. Four cadets earned "Distinguished Graduate" honors for finishing in the top 10% of the cadet rankings. All braved a rigorous schedule that included 5:00 AM wakeups, physical training, drill, academics, team building, sports, room and uniform inspections, and did not retire until 10:00 PM. With nearly 650 Air Force and Army JROTC cadets from across Texas and New Mexico, the experience provided an excellent opportunity for student and leadership development.
