In an engaging 8th grade social studies activity, students reenacted the Boston Tea Party using toilet paper to symbolize the tea. The "colonials" tossed rolls into the "harbor," reinforcing the historical significance of the event. This hands-on experience fosters teamwork, creativity, and a deeper understanding of the American revolution as students connect history to this playful interpretation.

In Mrs. Mahoney's Art I lesson, students practiced observation and hand-eye coordination by drawing a partner's face without looking at their paper or lifting their pencil. The focus is on capturing the subject’s essence through continuous lines, encouraging students to trust their instincts and embrace imperfections.
