Reminders for this Friday's Dance:

Connecting our military-connected students is a priority at Dobie! Thanks to Alaya C and Mason R for attending the S2S Jamboree and learning how to strengthen these important connections. Being military kids themselves, they know what it is like to be the new kid on campus.
Today was the first day of Counselor Appreciation Week! Thank you Dobie Cheer for your door banners ❤️🐾

It's School Counselor week! Show your love for our Counselors with these dress-up days:
❤️ Monday 2/3: Wear Animal Print “Middle School can be a jungle with lions and tigers and bears! Oh my! But I have no fear because my school counselor is here.”
❤️ Tuesday 2/4: Wear Your Feel Good Shoes (Colorful, Sparkly, Or Just Comfortable) “My shoes represent how my counselor encourages students to focus on what makes them feel confident and positive.”
❤️ Wednesday 2/5: Wear School Colors for the 100th Day of School “100 ways my counselor is on my team.”
❤️ Thursday 2/6: Wear Bright or Sparkly “Counselors help us shine bright like diamonds!”

🎨🧁 Colorful creativity in action! 🎨🧁
Our Art 1 students at Dobie had a blast celebrating color theory in the most delicious way—by mixing frosting to create their own custom colors! 🌈 From primary to secondary to all the beautiful shades in between, they explored how colors blend while decorating cupcakes. Learning (and tasting) has never been sweeter!
Great job, artists! Keep painting the world with your creativity! 🎨✨ #DobieArt #ColorTheory #SweetLearning

Get ready for Tennis season!

Dobie FCCLA is off to the Region V Leadership Conference in Corpus Christi! Students are competing in various events to show off their knowledge of Family and Consumer Science courses. Good luck Cougars!

Only 185 tickets remain! Our dances always sell out and there is no wait list.

Dear Dobie Jr. High Families,
We are starting to see an uptick of food deliveries from Door Dash, Chick-Fil-A, etc. These deliveries are not permitted and will be sent back via the delivery service. Only those listed on a student's Skyward account can drop off food.
Additionally, if you bring food to campus it is to be given to your student only. Parents/guardians cannot bring in multiple items for the student to share with others (i.e. several pizzas).
If you have any questions, please contact your student's AP.
Thank you,
Dobie Admin

Lost and found will be cleared out at end of day this Friday, January 31st.
