We are excited to announce that our school has a food pantry. It is located near the front lobby doors! Families and community members are invited to donate non-perishable food items. They can also take what they need.
In addition to food, we also accept seasonal items. For example, you can donate gently used gloves and scarves for the winter, sunscreen and hats for the summer, and so on.
Thank you to our Community in Schools (CIS) Site Coordinator, Mrs. Lopez, and school counselor, Mrs. Nipper, for bringing this food pantry to Watts!

Each month, Watts Elementary celebrates exceptional faculty and staff members who make a positive difference in our school community. They were recognized for their contributions and why they stand out.
Wildcats, let's pause to celebrate our November staff members of the month!

Our 4th grade Wildcats recently went to the Agriculture Fair at our district barns. They learned that there is much more to the agriculture community than just farming! They took part in several demonstrations put on by the Clemens FFA Chapter, Steele FFA Chapter, some of our local 4-H organizations, and HEB.

Thank you to all of our Veterans who joined us yesterday for the Veterans Parade. This gave our Wildcats a chance to honor you and your service to our country. It is a small gesture to show our appreciation for everything you have done.

Reminder: Join me tomorrow for Coffee with Conn from 7:00 to 7:30 AM, streaming live on the Watts Wildcats Facebook page. I can't wait to connect with you all in the morning!

Our Wildcats were able to stay dry during our yearly Book Character Parade! It is fun to see our Wildcats get more and more creative with their book character choices for our parade each year! Here are some of our Wildcats during the parade!

Wildcats, enjoy your four-day weekend with your loved ones!

Wildcats! Our Trunk or Treat event was really great! It was fun to see our families learning and having a good time! We can't wait for our next event! A BIG thank you to our Parent Teacher Committee (PTC) for putting this event together!

Happy weekend, Wildcats!
