As we head into summer, let's throw it back to our Wildcats' field day fun...

Back in the 2006–2007 school year, something special was definitely in the water at Watts Elementary! Seven staff members were expecting babies during the spring semester, leading to what became known around campus as the "Watts Baby Boom."

Our Kindergarten Wildcats are eager to become 1st grade Wildcats!

At Watts, we Go Gray in May. We do this to honor Brain Tumor Awareness Month. This is a time to raise awareness about brain tumors. We also want to show support for those who have been affected by brain tumors. The color gray is a symbol for brain tumors, representing the gray matter in the brain.
We grow Everly Strong as each day goes by!

Today is National Speech-Language Pathologist Appreciation Day!
Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) play a crucial role in helping our students communicate effectively, whether it’s addressing speech and language delays, improving communication skills, or supporting them with articulation or phonological difficulties.
We are very thankful for having such an amazing SLP Team at Watts for all our Wildcats!

This week we said THANK YOU to our wonderful 24-25 PTC Board and all of our amazing 24-25 parent volunteers by providing them breakfast. Thank you to our PTC and parents who give their time in helping our campus continue to run smoothly!

This week, we celebrated our entire staff at Watts! We took a trip back in time to the 80s. Our wonderfully sweet PTC gave our staff something nice to enjoy each day. Our staff got to enjoy a nacho bar, a yogurt bar, sweet treats, breakfast (bagels and donuts), a pizza party, and sandwiches. Thank you to the Watts PTC, Mr. Steven Piles, Mattenga’s Pizzeria, and Schertz Cibolo Emergency Clinic for celebrating our campus staff! We are very grateful for your generosity! We are truly thankful for all that you have done and continue to do for our Wildcat family!

Congratulations to our May Staff Member of the Month award recipients! Well deserved!

Today is National School Nurse Appreciation Day. This day honors the hard work and dedication of school nurses.
School nurses are healers, comforters, and role models. They do a selfless job and meet the challenges of caring for school students. They help improve attendance, staff health, and academic performance.
Thank you for all that you do for all of our Wildcats every single day, Nurse Law!
