Our Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Team is wearing their ugly holiday sweaters to celebrate National Ugly Sweater Day! This day is usually celebrated on the third Friday of December, but our ECSE Team is celebrating it today! The tradition of wearing ugly sweaters started in the 1850s, but it became popular in the 1980s. Movies and TV shows helped make the ugly sweater a fun way to show holiday spirit. Nuestro equipo de Educación Especial para la Primera Infancia (ECSE) está usando sus horribles suéteres navideños para celebrar el Día Nacional del Suéter Feo. Este día se suele celebrar el tercer viernes de diciembre, pero nuestro equipo de ECSE lo celebra hoy. La tradición de usar suéteres feos comenzó en la década de 1850, pero se hizo popular en la década de 1980. Last week, Samuel Clemens High School Culinary Department hosted a "Cooking with Santa" pancake event for our 4th Grade Tri-pod Wildcats! Our third-grade Wildcats sang their hearts out! They were truly the stars of last night's events. Thank you to our talented music teacher Ms. Threadgill for organizing this fun event for our Wildcats and their families! ¡Nuestros Wildcats de tercer grado cantaron con todo el corazón!
