Samuel Clemens Dance presents the Annual Mr. Buff Pageant on Thursday, January 29th. The pageant begins at 6:30 PM with doors opening at 6.

Purchase tickets through the Square App to witness the competition for the title, the crown of Mr. Buff.

Additionally, each contestant will have a donation link shared on their social media and on the signs & posters around campus. The contestant raising the most money will be crowned “Mr. Photogenic.”

Come be a part of the fun this Friday while supporting Clemens Dance.

Vote for senior, Clara "Reagan" Norman in the Take Care of Texas Video Contest. Reagan is passionate about water conservation and will be attending Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi in the fall to study biology with a concentration in marine life. Clean waterways, one of the topics TCEQ promotes, is the topic of Reagan's video and aligns with future goals.

Congratulations to Laini Erebia for being selected by the Youth Art Month Committee to be part of the 2025-2026 Texas Art Education Association's Youth Art Month Exhibition for her artwork "Renni". The exhibition will be on display at the Bullock Texas State History Museum in Austin during the month of March 2026.

Our Buffs brought home four awards from the MUNSA conference on Friday.

At MUNSA students are individually judged on their performance. Each room (ranging from 20 - 50 delegates) will give three awards, Honorable Delegate, Distinguished Delegate, and the ultimate award, Best Delegate.

Calico Johnson earned Honorable Delegate as Francois Mitterrand, Addison May earned Distinguished Delegate as Vladimir Putin, Jackson Martin earned Distinguished Delegate as Donald Trump, and Padraig Gillis earned Best Delegate as Prosecutor 5 in the ICC.

This conference featured some of the nest Model UN programs with schools coming as far as Japan to compete. Our Buffs continue to shine. Special shout out to Mr. Barber for leading our Model UN program.
